You can see your test results on the NHS App. Do not book appointments to find out the test result. We do not book appointments for normal test results.
Only If the patient has received communication to book an appointment regarding their test results, should they book it via AskFirst by navigating to the ‘Test Results’ tab on the AskFirst app.
If you are instructed to be seen within 48 hours, please call the surgery.
Patients in vulnerable groups like old, with a disability, mental illness or a language barrier can call surgery to book a phone or face-to-face appointment, whichever the patient prefers but only if they have received a communication to book an appointment.
They can also call to find out the test result between hours of 12pm to 2pm.
Even though we try to advise patients of abnormal results, at times it does not happen. For example, we may not receive results from the lab for one or other reason. Therefore it is patient’s responsibility to ensure that surgery have received results and marked it normal or abnormal by looking at the results on NHS App or by phoning/coming to surgery reception.
